In this music theory course, you will learn bass clef and treble clef note reading, intervals, chords, harmony structures, and how to apply them to your respective instrument. Larisa Marian is an AP certified music teacher and will be the teacher of the course!
Course details
Goals of the Program
At Studio Muse we want each student to have the experience of learning more than just the notes of their instrument but the inner workings of music. The students will learn how to construct a simple harmony and melody line, strengthen their understanding of scales, intervals, rhythms, and basic harmony.
Level & Age Requirements
The student needs to have some basic knowledge of their instrument since our course is not playing based, it is knowledge based. The age range for the course is 11 years of age and up.
Date & Time
Music Theory will be held VIRTUALLY every Satruday from November 9th to December 21st at 2:30PM via GoogleMeet. Each one of the sessions will be recorded!
Faculty
The teacher of this course will be Larisa Marian. Mrs. Marian is an AP music theory certified teacher and was the Orchestra director of Tuscarora High School. Please click on the link to read more about the instructor, Mrs. Marian.
