Embark on a mesmerizing journey into the heart of Persian music and culture with our immersive Daf group class. Feel the Daf come to life as you learn the art of playing the mesmerizing rhythms of the this iconic Persian percussion instrument.
about the course
Goals of the Program
Students will learn how to play daf in a group setting. Much like the Daf Drum Circle, students will learn more in depth of what it takes to play in an ensemble.
Level & Age Requirements
This group class is open to students ages 11+
This class is designed for beginners. No previous experience necessary
If you have already completed the Beginning Level and are approved to take the Intermediate Level, sign up here.
Course Date & Time
The Beginning Daf Group Course will be held on Fridays, April 4th-June 6th from 6:00PM - 7:30PM.
Faculty
The teaching staff will include distinguished Daf & Tombak instructor and performer, Jalal Kimia.
